cineXML
cineXML for Windows Vista released
Today we announce the immediate release of cineXML – the offline to online workflow tool for Avid editing products and REDCINE.
cineXML provides a smooth Red workflow for Avid Media Composer and is now available for both Windows Vista and Mac OS X Leopard.
REDCINE from Red Digital Cinema Company is a free software for Mac and PC which is used to convert the Red files to industry standard formats like DPX and QuickTime. The application does not directly support importing pull lists from editing applications to render just what is being used in the final program. cineXML, a third party tool for Mac and PC, removes this limitation for Avid editing products.
Public beta for Mac released
The cineXML public beta for OSX Leopard has been released. It’s fully functional until November 5th when the 1.0 version is released. We are pretty sure you will embrace it if you edit Red footage on an Avid system.

cineXML demo in Copenhagen

Avocoda was invited to the Avid DS and Red event at the EBH studios in Copenhagen. We got a 15 minute slot in the busy schedule and the demo was squeezed in between the Red workflow by Øystein Riise-Næss from Avid and the Red case study by editor Niels Ostenfeld.
A short “commercial” workflow was shown with the main focus on online via Quicktime in Media Composer with cineXML and Redcine.
